Deep nose with some ink and spice. Smells like wine. Robust with heavy American oak, and dark fruits in the Aussie style. Somewhat plain Jane however. Not much acid nor brightness to the flavor. Just kinda heavy without much character (like the band AC/DC), but a drinkable example of the Aussie style "Shiraz".
